Our Story

The Dandekar Family set up Raintree Foundation in 2018 with a planetary focus to address the climate crisis and biodiversity loss.
The foundation is committed to building sustainable, resilient and
thriving ecosystems.
The goal is to encourage community driven conservation through innovative programs that shift mindsets and lead to systemic change.

Sustainable Development Goals

Through our programs we impact 15 out of the 17 pre-requisite sustainable development goals in our programs as prescribed by the UNITED NATIONS (UN) guidelines.

Our Integrated Approach

Our integrated approach for climate, community and biodiversity is a holistic strategy that seeks to address the interconnected challenges of climate change, community well-being and biodiversity conservation. This approach recognizes that these three elements are closely linked and that addressing them in isolation can be ineffective or even counterproductive.
